Gyros, Souvlaki, and pieces of grilled pork served with chopped onions, fries, and tomatoes on pita bread with lashings of tzatziki are some of Greece’s favorite fast foods.
It’s most likely the delectable baked moussaka. Layers of potatoes, minced meat, and fried aubergines make up moussaka. All of this is then topped with a creamy bechamel sauce and baked until golden brown.
Traditional Greek cuisine is both flavorful and nutritious. It is also high in vitamins, fiber, healthy fats, and antioxidants. Use Greek staple foods like olive oil, veggies, herbs, and lean meats in your diet to provide your body with optimum nutritional balance.
We offer a wide range of Greek food. E.g. Souvlaki, Tzatziki, Gyro, Bifteki, Loukaniko, Hummus, Fiery Feta Dip, Moustaki Sticks, Spanakopita, Horiatiki, Baklava, and more exquisite foods can be found on our Greek menu.
The typical buffet plan is based on dish placement: cutlery, plates, bread, and napkins are all arranged at the very beginning. Salads and appetizers follow. Soup dishes, spoons, and the actual soups come next. The main course is served last.
Costs will differ based on the restaurant and the size of the event. Traditional catering services range in price from $20 to $200 per person.

Greek cuisine is popular in cities such as Chicago, Florida, New York, Baltimore, and Detroit. This is due to the fact that they have Greek districts and neighborhoods where the bulk of Greek immigrants live.

I had only had gyros a handful of times in my life, some 15+ years ago, from food carts in NYC, which were always quite good, but Moustaki has officially set the bar for this flavorful and filling meal. I had the lamb gyro, while my girlfriend had the chicken and we both opted for the mustard sauce. Both were warm, fresh and delicious; a real 10 out of 10 experience, especially for what was a very reasonable price. Aside from the fantastic food, the restaurant was very tidy and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
Access to authentic gyros in Philly is a challenge. There are lots of gyros, but many use frozen, pre-cut meat and less-than-fresh veggies. Moustaki is different. Their ingredients are high quality, super fresh, and delicious. Their spices are spot-on, and they deliver one of the best gyros in the city. Also, don't sleep on the waffle fries, one of my fav sides in the area. Be sure you add some extra tzatziki sauce to go with the fries.
Easy to order online for pickup or delivery, we chose to call in our order during our midday walk and pick up. Enjoyed the no-frills lamb gyro (fries inside), Greek salad* (oil and vinegar and pita on the side), and gyro fries** (tzatziki*** on the side).
I couldn't decide between a gyro or gyro waffle fries so I got both!!! Service was great and food was delicious and flavorful. I'm not from this state so I was tirelessly searching Yelp for some really delicious food. I took a 20 minute Uber there and back and kept my fingers crossed then entire way skeptical about whether or not the trip was worth it...IT WAS!!!!! Food was amazing. I started to dig in before I could get out the door good! I'm a sucker for great tzatziki sauce and this place has it! If I'm ever back in town this place is on the must visit list!
